ROLE OVERVIEW

As a talented IT member, you will be working with highly skilled IT professionals providing assistance to our internal users, diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware problems. You will help our users install applications and programs and maintain endpoints & technical equipment. You will be responsible for resolving network issues, configuring operating systems and using remote desktop connection to provide immediate support. Finally, you will provide clear written instructions and keep track of the IT Assets.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Perform upgrades, repairs, and preventive maintenance on desktops/laptops, networking devices, printers-scanners, telephones, and other equipment when required
  • Act as IT point of contact for the local office users
  • Monitor the service desk tickets and provide assistance to users
  • Assist internal users (1st level support) experiencing operational, hardware, or network connectivity problems with their computer systems
  • Participate in IT Asset Inventory Management & Lifecycle (Hardware & Software)
  • Support & provide feedback on issues and practical advice to the local IT team members
  • Provide support on ad-hoc projects as arisen
  • Purchase new hardware and software for our users
  • Establish company’s relationships with vendors and suppliers

  • SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES TO SUCCEEDD

  • University Degree or Technical Education Degree in fields related to Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or relevant field
  • 1.5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge and troubleshooting skills on Microsoft Windows/Server and Microsoft O365 platform
  • Excellent command of the English language, both oral and written (B2)
  • Strong communication & reporting skills
  • Ability to work in a team and share knowledge with others
  • Fast learner, team player

  • NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience in Microsoft O365 Technologies
  • Experience in Fortinet/Cisco switches and firewalls will be an asset
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technical products
  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
  • IT Asset Lifecycle Management Understanding
  •  Desirable certifications (not mandatory): AZ-900, MS-900, DP-900
